MOT Testing

Mot test including collection and delivery within the Preston area. We can carry out MOT pre-checks and also mot preparation if you are unsure if your vehicle is going to pass the test.
The MOT test checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.
You must get an MOT for your vehicle by either:

• The third anniversary of its registration 

• The anniversary of its last MOT, if it’s over 3 years old

If vehicle has recently failed its mot or you have advisories that you want to get fixed, we will can help and give advice on those repairs can, from worn tires, brakes, suspension, any warning lights fixed, emissions faults and even corrosion we can also carry out welding repairs if required and any other mot failure repair work to ensure your car passes the test.

It is important that all vehicles over three years old receive this test annually to meet the environmental and safety standards set by the government. The MOT test checks key safety components such as brakes, lights, steering, suspension, and tires to ensure that they are in good working order.

Just remember you could be fined up to £1,000 for driving a car without a valid MOT. If you drive a vehicle deemed 'dangerous' by an MOT test, you can be fined up to £2,500, be banned from driving and receive three penalty points.
